Mörk Borg RPG: Core Rulebook

The Mörk Borg RPG: Core Rulebook is a doom-metal album pressed into a game: minimal rules, maximum atmosphere and a dying fantasy world where every decision may be your last. The book reads like an art piece, with each spread designed to match its bleak, apocalyptic themes. A pick for RPG groups who want fast, brutal one-shots or a grim campaign without a heavy rulebook, and a striking gift for players who collect beautiful books. Key details: • Format: core rulebook with all rules for character creation and running the game • Setting: the Calendar of Nechrubel, a chronicle of the world's end • 20 occult powers, each with its own risks and rewards • 12 sinister creatures • Game master tools: tables for corpse plundering, occult treasures, adventure sparks and dungeon generation • Introductory adventure: Rotblack Sludge, set in the Shadow King's ruined palace • Award winner, including Product of the Year and Best Writing Character creation takes minutes, and a session might send your scum into a warlock-infested ruin to plunder what they can before the next misery from the Calendar arrives. The rules stay out of the way so the table can focus on dread, dark humour and short lifespans. Buy the Mörk Borg RPG: Core Rulebook online from Cookes Games.
