Faraway

Faraway is a card game about a journey that is remembered backwards. Players lay their location cards in order but recount them in reverse at the end, so a card played late can quietly reward what you set down early. The oversized cards carry dreamlike artwork by Laura Bevon that gives the whole game a poetic feel. It suits 2-6 players who want a light strategy game with a genuine twist, and at 20-30 minutes it fits easily between bigger games or at the end of an evening. Key details: • Players: 2-6 • Age: 10+ • Play time: 20-30 minutes • Publisher: Catch Up Games • Designers: Johannes Goupy and Corentin Lebrat • Illustrator: Laura Bevon • Contents: 80 oversized location cards, 10 character cards, 6 player aids and a rulebook Each round you choose a location card to add to your journey, planning ahead for the reverse-order recount at the finish. Variable card combinations mean the puzzle changes every game, and the storytelling side lets you narrate the tale your cards have created. Buy Faraway online from Cookes Games.
