Expeditions: Around the World

Expeditions: Around the World sends three expeditions out from Northern Europe and lets every player nudge them toward the destinations they secretly want. Along the way the location cards share facts about real places, cultures and wildlife, so the race doubles as a tour of the globe. A light strategy game for families with children aged 8 and up, and a good fit for groups who like some competition without heavy rules. Key details: • Players: 2-6 • Age: 8+ • Contents: 1 map board, 80 expedition cards, 135 arrows in three colours • Also includes 40 tickets, 24 tokens in six colours, 6 large tokens and 4 player aids • Publisher: Hachette Board Games UK On a turn you use expedition cards to influence where one of the three expeditions heads next, laying arrows across the map and hoping the route reaches a destination on your tickets. Everyone is pulling the same routes in different directions, so reading who wants what is half the fun, and the secret objectives keep each game different.
